Diversity, Inclusion and Equality of nursing start from classrooms and continue in the research area, experts say. Patients expect to see nurses like them, speak their language, and understand their culture. Inclusion is an important and slightly new aspect of diversity. Simply put, inclusion is not just about being there, but being part of things. Now considered a much-needed addition to the diverse healthcare industry, the inclusion emphasizes that when we hire someone from a diverse group we do so because we want what they can offer, not because we have a mix of staff to meet.
